Public Meeting Wednesday 28-Jan-2026

This letter is to invite you to a community information meeting regarding a Preliminary Plat Application for approval of a Conservation Subdivision preliminary plat for a tracts totaling approximately 690.2 acres, Chatham County Tax Parcel #s 7047, 94452, 06283, 92435(Portion of) and 85133 (Portion of) (collectively, the “Property”). The subdivision is currently anticipated to include approximately +1 145 detached single-family lots along with, among other things, a public park, amenities, walking trails an approximately 341 acres (undeveloped, active and public park).

A community information meeting with respect to the proposed subdivision of the Property will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Holmes Family Meeting Room in the Pittsboro Public Library located at 197 NC HWY 87, Pittsboro, NC 27312.

The proposed subdivision would allow single-family dwellings within a conservation subdivision on the Property. A subdivision plan will be shown at the meeting, the proposed development of the Property and the subdivision process will be explained, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions and express any concerns you may have about the proposed subdivision of the Property.

This meeting is required as part of the Town of Pittsboro’s subdivision process, but Town Staff will not be present. Your attendance and input at the community information meeting is not required but will be appreciated. If you have questions before the meeting, you may contact the person noted below,
